Ayam Bumbu Rujak

Yield: 4 pax

Ingredients :

  • 1 pack Bamboe Bumbu Rujak (Red and Spicy Mix)
  • 800-1000 gram whole chicken
  • 30 ml lime juice
  • 500 ml coconut milk
  • 50 gram Jempol Coconut Sugar (Gula Jawa)
  • 30 ml cooking oil

Method :
  • Cut the whole chicken into 8 pieces
  • Chop the Jempol Coconut Sugar into pieces
  • Smear the chicken with the lime juice then wash it until clean
  • Sauté Bamboe Bumbu Rujak until it smells good then add the chicken
  • Stir the Bamboe Bumbu Rujak together with the chicken
  • Add the coconut oil and the brown sugar then cook with a medium heat (simmer)
  • Cook until the chicken tender and serve it
